Bearded dragon feeding questions?

hello everyone i have a 6inch bearded dragon i got recently he eats his crckets fine but sometimes some hide from him. hes in a 55g wide tank. a little big for him do you think i should put a divider in the tank to make it for they cant go hide on the other side of the tank or what? because he dosent realy "hunt:" for them he will only eat them if he sees them near him. he eats very healthy when he sees them any suggestions would be great. thanks!
